MEDITERRANEAN PLATTER





Serves 4
Time: 35 to 50 minutes


6 to 8 boneless chicken thighs
6 garlic cloves grated

Juice of 1/2 lemon
zest of 1 lemon
3 to 4 tbs olive oil
1 tbs fresh thyme or dry
1 tbs oregano or marjoram
salt & pepper
1 tbs sesame seeds
1 tsp sumac  ( optional)

                               

Method

  • Mix all the ingredients , except the chicken thighs first. 
  • Add the chicken to the marinade. Rub it well with your fingers so that the spices lock inside the meat. Set aside for 30 to  60 minutes.
  • You can either grill the chicken on  gas top, broil in the oven or BBQ on coals.
It tastes very good and succulent. It can be served with pita bread, tabbouleh, tzatziki or fries.
