TZATZIKI



TZATZIKI







Serves 1 bowl
Time: 5 to 10 minutes


1 cup greek yoghurt
2 cucumber deseeded and grated
2 tbs olive oil
1 garlic clove minced
salt & pepper
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tbs chopped dill ( optional)


Method

  • Bring all the above ingredients together in a bowl and mix. season it well and refrigerates till the time you will use. 
TIP:  Adding a tsp of TAHINI enhance the taste. I always add it. It gives a creamier texture.

This sauce is perfect as a dip for any appetisers, such as chicken, lamb, falafel etc. I also serve this with biryani.
