CHICKEN WINGS TOSSED IN HONEY AND MUSTRAD SAUCE

CHICKEN WINGS TOSSED IN HONEY & MUSTARD SAUCE

A very nice sweet-hot-mustard combination, a different taste from the other wings. Wings were tender and juicy and the flavours were great. My son loved it.  Great for appetizer.

Serves: 2
Time: 30 minutes

12 chicken wings (cut in half and tips removed)
2 tbs dijon mustard
4  tbs honey
1/4 melted butter
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne/chilli flakes
2 tbs plain flour
salt

Method

Toss the chicken wings in plain flour and refrigerate for 10 minutes.

Heat the oil and in the meantime, make the sauce by heating mustard, butter, pepper, honey and chilli flakes. When it comes to a roll take it off the heat.

Now, fry the chicken wings in hot oil, till golden brown and crisp.

Toss the chicken wings in the sauce and serve hot with some fries and extra sauce to dip.
