MILO & COFFEE CHOCOLATE CHIP MUG CAKE


MILO & COFFEE CHOCOLATE CHIP MUG CAKE

A very airy and light microwave mug cake. Make it at any time of the day. I dusted icing sugar but you can frost it with cream or buttercream once cooled. 





Serves 2
Time: 2 to 3 minutes


1/4 cup self-raising flour
2 tbs brown sugar
2 tbs caster sugar
2 tbs milo
1 tbs coffee powder
A pinch of salt
1 egg
1/4 milk
2 tbs melted butter
1/4 chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp icing sugar for dusting

Method

In a bowl mix in the self-raising flour, sugars, milo, salt and coffee. whisk it light handily.

Add the milk, egg, butter and vanilla.  Mix it properly so the mixture is smooth. 

Add the chocolate chips and give it a stir. Pour the batter into big coffee mugs which are microwave safe. Cook on high for one and half minutes to 2 minutes depending on the watts of your microwave. 

Let it cool once cooked. Dust some icing sugar on top and indulge yourself in a warm chocolaty, milo and coffee mug cake.
