PAPRIKA AND BUTTER CHICKEN WITH HERBED COUSCOUS





Serves 2
Time: 40  minutes


For the chicken
2 chicken quarters poked or incisions made ( with the skin on)
2 tbs paprika
2 tbs butter
1 tsp black pepper
Salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder

For the couscous
1 cup couscous
Salt & pepper
1 tsp oil
2 tbs chopped parsley
1 tbs lemon juice


Method

Mix the paprika, salt, pepper and garlic powder in a bowl. Heat a heavy pan and brown the chicken quarters. 

In the same pan add the butter and the spices. spoon this on the chicken quarters. Make sure you spoon it in the cuts also. Cook further in preheated oven at 200'C for 10 minutes.

In the meantime, make the couscous according to the packet instructions. Then add the rest of the ingredients. Mix and season well.

Serve the herbed couscous with paprika chicken. Drizzle the pan juices on top.
