MAYONNAISE LAMBS CHOPS WITH ALOO GOBI 






Serves 4
Time: 45- 50 minutes


For the lamb chops
8 lamb chops
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2 tbs olive oil
1 tsp paprika
Salt & pepper
1 tbs coriander powder
1 tbs vinegar

For the aloo gobi

1 big head cauliflower cut in florets
1 big potato diced 
1/2 cup peas
2 cloves garlic smashed
1 tsp ginger crushed
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
Salt
1/2 tsp cumin powder
2 tbs butter
1 tbs lemon juice


Method 



First, mix the ingredients for the marination. 


Coat the lamb chops well and keep it aside for 1 hour or at leat 30 minutes.

 

Heat the pan very hot and sear the meat on both sides. Render the fat down slightly and then tip it in the preheated oven at 200'C for 8 to 10 minutes.



As you are preparing the lamb, in another pot bring water, ginger, garlic and salt to a boil. Add the potatoes to cook and in the last 1-minute throw in the peas. Sieve them out.


In the same water add the turmeric and bring to a boil. Add the cauliflower to it and cook till al Dante.


Heat butter in a pan and toss the cauliflower, potatoes and peas in it. Flavour with spices and lemon juice. 





Serve the lamb chops with aloo gobi on the side.
