GREEN ( MINT/CORIANDER) CHUTNEY/SAUCE
Serves 1 cup
Time 5-8 minutes
1/2 cup mint leaves
1/2 cup coriander leaves
1/4 tsp ginger chopped
1 tbs lemon juice
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp chat masala
1/2 tsp salt
2-3 green chillies
Method
Blend all the above ingredients adding a bit of water according to the consistency required. Adjust the seasoning.
This sauce can be stored in the fridge for 2 to 4 days.
TIP: The leftover sauce can be used in marinating lamb or chicken. For the vegetarians, you can marinate tofu or paneer .
