LAMB MINCE KEBABS (INDIAN STYLE)





Serves 4 -6
Time: 1 hour
                             
1kg lamb mince
2 tbs ginger paste
1 tbs garlic paste
1 medium onion finely chopped
2 tbs coriander chopped
2 tbs ghee 
1-3 green chili chopped
1-2 tbs coriander powder
1 tsp cayenne powder
salt

                                          

Method


Mix the above ingredients, and knead into a dough. Keep the mince meat mix in the refrigerator to marinade for at least 30  minutes.  In the meantime, the 3 sauce can be prepared. (tamarind sauce, yoghurt sauce and the green sauce)


Remove from the fridge and make the kebabs. You can either grill them on charcoal or in the oven. 

Serve these with naan, pita bread, chips or whatever you may like. 

TIP: Ghee is added in the mincemeat to make it moist and soft.
